Hospital pharmacy medicine sourcing through a private B2B workflow

Approved hospital pharmacies and procurement teams can record an exact medicine requirement, review structured seller responses and keep the sourcing decision private.

Built for authorised B2B procurement—not patient orders

This workflow is for hospitals, hospital pharmacies and other eligible healthcare organisations acting through authorised procurement staff. PharmaBatch is not a public pharmacy, does not accept prescriptions from patients and does not provide medical advice.

Define the exact medicine pack first

A useful requirement identifies the intended medicine, strength, dosage form, pack size and manufacturer or recognised reference where available. Keeping each request attached to one exact pack reduces ambiguity between presentations that share a brand or active ingredient.

Use a listed offer or publish an RFQ

When an approved seller has a suitable live batch offer, the buyer can request the required quantity. If no suitable offer is available, the hospital buyer can publish a private request for quotation against the exact pack.

Compare evidence—not price alone

A structured seller response can include proposed quantity, the buyer-facing final product price per pack, origin, expiry and storage information. The final product price already includes the 6.5% marketplace fee. Hospital procurement and quality teams should review the full presentation, remaining shelf life, route, supplier evidence and applicable transaction documents before selecting a response.

Keep sensitive commercial information private

The medicine directory, live quantities, prices, counterparties and responses remain inside approved accounts. A directory record organises the request; it is not public stock, proof of availability or an offer to supply.

Selection still requires transaction review

A buyer request or selected RFQ response is not an accepted wholesale transaction. The proposed parties, product, route and supporting records remain subject to the platform workflow and the transaction-specific checks described in the operating model.
